The buyer should specify material composition, green part size, batch weight, target density, working temperature, vacuum level and whether protective gas is required.

Small R&D batches may use compact chamber furnaces, while production batches need larger loading areas and stronger temperature uniformity control.

Common quotation mistakes

A common mistake is asking only for chamber size and maximum temperature. For powder metallurgy, atmosphere purity, binder residue, heating curve, cooling curve and part geometry can be just as important as maximum temperature.
